Tilt & Turn Windows
These are also known as 'continental'
style windows and are becoming increasingly popular in Britain
.
They open inwards in two different positions. Opened in the
'tilt' position for even a few minutes encourages fresh air
to enter and to circulate - forcing the old stale air out.
In the 'turn' or fully open position they provide ventilation
on very hot days and can also be cleaned on both sides from
inside the room. The sash opens wide enough to act as an emergency
exit.

A Saracen Secure window
locks 5 ways
A window fitted with a Saracen shoot bolt, the high security
friction hinge and an automatically locking handle, secures
the window to the frame at 5 different points.
At the turn of a handle, a central deadlock or cams locate
into the frame, whilst high strength bolts lock into keeps
positioning in the top and bottom corners of the frame.
The friction hinge locks into the outer corners, making
it impossible to force the window and greatly enhancing
the weathering seal. |

Front doors and
French doors can be Saracen Secure too.
With a Saracen entrance door, security is supported by a centre
deadlock and heavy-duty hooks, clamping the door together.
High security hinges complete the picture.
For French doors, the unique security system of robust hooks,
shoots and deadbolts for a criminal-defying 7 point locking

| We're so confident your
home is Saracen Secure that, in the event of a break-in
succeeding through failure of our products, we will
pay the cost (up to £500) of replacing or repairing
the forced window or door, and pay you £500 towards
any inconvenience caused.
- The guarantee is valid for a period
of 5 years from registration and is fully transferable
- The guarantee will only take effect
from the date of receipt of the registration form.
- The total compensation package of
up to £1000 will be the maximum amount payable
in full and final settlement of any claims.
- The guarantee will be subject to the
observance of Saracen's instructions relating to the
use and maintenance of our products.
- The Guarantee will only be valid providing
that no modification, repair or alteration to the
product has been made without our approval.
